Big Firms Leave You in the Dark,
Shawn Keeps You in the Loop.
Shawn Frazier
Shawn was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, where there are many Spanish speakers, and she was fortunate to become fluent in Spanish. After graduating from McAllen High School in 2000, she began college at Texas A&M University; though, like many young people, she hadn’t yet found her career path. Facing some personal challenges, Shawn took time off and returned home to the Valley.
In 2003, Shawn was hired as a legal assistant at a plaintiff personal injury firm in McAllen, where she discovered her passion for helping injured clients. She resumed her studies while working and earned her BA in Communication Journalism from The University of Texas Pan American (now UTRGV) in 2007.
In 2008, Shawn joined Farmers Insurance as a bodily injury claims representative, and then in 2010, began attending law school at St. Mary’s University in the evenings. She graduated in 2013 and became licensed to practice law in 2014. Over her 10 years with Farmers, Shawn transitioned from adjuster to defense attorney but became disillusioned with the insurance industry’s prioritization of its own interests over their insureds who were her clients.
In 2018, Shawn joined FVF Law, where she fought for injured clients, securing settlements for nearly 150 people, including several six-figure and maximum insurance settlements. In 2024, Shawn founded Shawn Frazier Law, where she continues her mission of providing top-notch personal injury representation to the people of Austin and surrounding communities, including Round Rock, where she lives.
Liz Solano
I’m from the vibrant capital of Nicaragua, known as the “land of lakes and volcanoes” and home to resilient people. Raised by an electrical engineer father and a chemical engineer mother, both of whom later devoted themselves to church mission service, I learned early to value hard work, empathy, and perseverance. I pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations & Diplomacy, where I discovered the power of raising a voice for others in need.
Before completing my degree, I gained early experience in document drafting as an intern helping underserved communities access scholarship programs and participating in the Harvard Association for Cultivating Inter-American Democracy (HACIA) conference. I later joined a Fortune 500 financial institution, working closely with clients for over eight years, handling credit bureau reporting procedures and dispute cases —experiences that strengthened my communication, research, and cross-cultural skills, ultimately leading me to find a place in personal injury.
Working side by side with Shawn since the firm first opened its doors has been a defining part of my career, not only as my lead attorney-mentor, but also as a close friend. From the very beginning, I have witnessed firsthand the genuine care and dedication she brings to every client. I am truly grateful that our professional paths crossed; she continues to inspire me, letting her actions speak louder than words when she defends your case.
As your Case Manager & Paralegal, I remain involved throughout every step of your case, from intake through trial preparation, helping manage records, coordinating treatment, communications, and preparing trial files, but overall sharing with Shawn a deep belief that our clients are the heartbeat of the firm and the driving force behind everything we do; we do it first with compassion.
I find balance in time spent with my brother, horseback riding, and beach walks.
